Fiumicino airport can be reached by different bus lines.

The connection with the domestic and international arrivals is carried out by COTRAL buses which leave from Roma Tiburtina railway station and stop at Piazza dei Cinquecento in front of Roma Termini railway station. The tickets can be bought directly in the bus.

The other COTRAL connections with the airport leave from Cornelia station of the metro Line A and from Eur-Magliana Station of Line B.

“Ferrovie dello Stato” (FS) set up two connections to reach the international airport of Fiumicino:

• a direct connection with Termini railway station and a connection by metro. The Rome-Fiumicino service departing from Termini railway station takes about 30 minutes to reach the airport without intermediate stops;
• as an alternative it is possible to take Sabina-Fiumicino line (FM1) which stops in some of the main Roman railway stations (Tiburtina, Tuscolana, Ostiense, Trastevere) usually every 15 minutes, and on holidays, every 30 minutes. The cost is 5,50 euros.

Ciampino airport can be reached by different bus lines.

The daily connection by public transports between the airport and  the FS Roma Termini rail station is carried out by the COTRAL/SCHIAFFINI buses. The ticket costs 5 euro and it could be bought directly in the bus. For information go to the web site www.schiaffini.com

The connection is, furthermore, carried out by the SITBUSSHUTTLE bus line, which daily connects the airport to Termini rail station with an average time of 30 minutes. The cost is 6 euros only one way. For information go to the web site www.sitbusshuttle.it

It is also available a connection with Termini rail station granted by the TERRAVISION company, whose transport service is carried out in coincidence to the flights carried out by Ryanair, Easyjet, Hapag Lloyd Express, Wizz Air, My Air, Blue Air, Central Wings and Flyme. The ticket costs only one way is 8 euro(adult) and 4 euro (child). The return tickects: 14 euro (adult), 7 euro (child).

Tickets are sold, besides on the aircrafts and on the web sites of the low cost carriers, also in the boxes in front of the arrival area of the airport and directly on the web site www.terravision.eu

From the bus stop of the public transport of Ciampino airport, at the exit of the airport, it is possible to reach directly the intercontinental airport “Leonardo Da Vinci” of Fiumicino in 45 minutes without intermediate stops.

The ticket costs 5 euro and can be bought on the bus or by an appointed person for sale, who can be recognized by the proper identifying badge.

The nearest rail station to “Giovan Battista Pastine” airport is Ciampino Città, connected to the airport by the buses COTRAL/SCHIAFFINI every 30 minutes. The travelling time is about 5 minutes.
